Kevin brings more than two decades of experience to his clients. His vision was to create an all-in-one financial experience where he could build trusted, long-term relationships by providing complete financial strategies and solutions for financial peace of mind.

Kevin started his career with a National Firm in 2000 before establishing North Bay Financial Services in 2009. In 2012 he joined Equitable Life of Canada as their Regional Sales Manager for BC Interior and Vancouver Island.  After five years with Equitable Life, Kevin went back into personal practice, establishing Zakus & Associates Wealth Management Inc., where he works with families and businesses across Western Canada.

Kevin holds the Professional Financial Advisor Designation (PFA), as well as the Certified Consultant on Aging (CPCA) and Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS) designations.

Kevin is an active board member with Advocis (The Financial Advisors Association of Canada) and is the Public Awareness and Communication Chair for the local chapter.  Prior to this appointment, Kevin spent six years as the Membership Chair, and had the privilege to sit on the National Leadership Committee during this time.

In an endeavor to give back to the community, Kevin dedicates countless hours to Kelowna’s local Minor Sports Associations, most recently as the High-Performance Director for the Central Okanagan Baseball Association

Kevin can be found making the most of the Okanagan lifestyle with his family whether it is on the lake or just enjoying one of the many local wineries.
